Simple Pricing & Engagement Policy
TL;DR — the plain-English version for sensible adults
I keep things simple. I’ll always agree costs up front, I don’t rush jobs, and I don’t start anything without making sure we’re on the same page. If something looks like it might grow, I’ll stop and talk it through first. My goal is long-term, low-stress support rather than emergencies.
Advice given in advance is usually free - fixing things after they’ve gone wrong rarely is
How I Charge
- Home visits are charged at a fixed price or hourly rate, agreed in advance
- Small business work is either a fixed-price project or monthly support
- I’ll always explain costs before starting work — no surprises
If something looks like it may cost more than expected, I’ll stop and discuss it first.
Minimum Charges
- Home visits: minimum 90 minute appointment
- Remote support: minimum 30 minutes
This keeps things fair and avoids rushing jobs that need proper attention.
Support & Availability
- I work normal weekday hours
- Urgent or out-of-hours requests may be possible by arrangement
Ongoing support clients receive priority response.
What I Don’t Do
To keep things simple and sustainable, I don’t:
- offer 24/7 emergency support
- provide unlimited on-demand help without an agreement
- take on work that isn’t a good fit
If something falls outside my scope, I’ll say so — and help you find the right option.
Payment
- Invoices are issued promptly
- Payment is due within 14 days
- Ongoing support is billed monthly in advance
Cancellations
- Please give 24 hours’ notice for cancellations
- Late cancellations or missed appointments may be chargeable
